Mission Codename Big Delicious
What a treat we have for you today! We have a very special deal for you on the beautifully balanced, Viszlay Vineyards 2012 Heritage Estate Red Wine. This is Viszlay’s signature red blend and we have a small allocation to share with our Operatives. So small, that we encourage you to reserve yours… soon.
The fog-influenced Russian River Valley is primarily known for its superlative Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but there’s warm “sweet spot” on Limerick Lane for Zinfandel and Petite Sirah, and Viszlay takes full advantage of it by growing their uber delicious fruit there.
This wine is bright red and woodsy on the nose, with bing cherry, raspberry, red currant, and cranberry, followed by soft spice, twigs, caramel, fig, spice and a hint of dried herbs. Juicy and rich, with balanced flavors of blackberry, black cherry, boysenberry, raisin, mixed spice, slate, subtle tobacco and hard leather.
Grab some while you can!
