Our 2012 Malbec grapes were harvested from the Hunter Vineyard in Sonoma Valley and the Hernandez Vineyard in Sonoma Carneros appellations. The grapes were picked at full maturity and optimal ripeness in order to take advantage of their deep, rich varietal flavors. Its dark red garnet color and purple hues alludes to the wine’s intensity and structural depth. It has enticing aromas and flavors of mountain blueberries, blackberries, black raspberries, baking spice, anise, and sweet vanilla oak. The wine is medium-bodied, succulent and juicy on the palate, with fully integrated tannins, well-balanced acidity, and a full mouth feel. Its flavors reflect its aromas and they resonate across the palate with an explosion of berry flavors, spice, oak and a lingering finish.
