The wine displays exemplary tension and freshness on the entry, then it just explodes in the mouth with joyous flavors of tropical passionfruit and honeydew melon. The mouthwatering finish is crisp and clean.

We particularly enjoy it with pan-seared scallops in a dill-cream sauce, pesto pasta, or grilled chicken.

Vineyard Notes

The Hopkins River Ranch old vines Sauvignon Blanc is grown in the Russian River Valley, renowned for high quality grapes and a long, cool growing season. The grapes were harvested in the cool morning hours and gently whole-cluster pressed. The juice was fermented cold to retain the natural crispness and aromatics.
