Montagu Wines’ Chardonnay hails exclusively from the Corotto Vineyard in the Carneros region of the Napa Valley. This Burgundian influenced Chardonnay is bright, powerful, and fruit driven with tropical fruit notes of white peach, honeyed apricots, and lemon curd with hints of mint, candied citrus and butterscotch. This wine was fermented in French barrels and spent nineteen months in barrel leading to wonderfully balanced oak integration while lees stirring developed rich complexity.
