Located on the south bank of the Rhône river, in the department of the Gard, Tavel is the Grand Cru for rosé wines. It’s a “gastronomic” rosé that can accompany varied dishes as it pairs nicely with meat and fish.

Pebble Rose is the vanguard of a new generation of “Tavel AOP”: Since 1936, the very first Controlled Appellation of Rosé which is considered by many as the Grand Cru of French Rosé. Grown on the Rhone’s right bank on similar soils than Chateauneuf du Pape, Tavel’s various grapes are benefiting from the, over 300.000 years old, Pebbles: reflection of the sunlight during the day, heat release at night. Enjoy Pebble Rosé on its own or paired with lighter dishes as various as salads, grilled veggies, seafood, white meats, hard cheeses, etc… “Santé”

The 2016 vintage in the Southern Rhone valley is exceptional, both in terms of quality and quantity, thanks to idyllic weather conditions that protected the region from climatic accidents throughout the whole year.

This wine presents finesse and elegance at contrary to the more traditional darker & heavier Tavel. This bright, intense pinkish wine with lighter shades reveals sumptuous gourmet aromas (raspberry, strawberry) and reveals in the mouth its intensity, its fine balance and its elegance of aromas of red and black fruits.
