Founded by Mauro Pacini in 1983, Fattoria Lecciaia is an estate that combines traditional practices with modern technology. Located in the Vallafrico area, bordering the oldest and most prestigious vineyards of Montalcino, the estate extends over 60 hectares with vineyards, olive trees and oak trees, with 15 hectares dedicated to the Sangiovese Grosso grape which produces Brunello di Montalcino. Serve this classic Tuscan red with Florentine steaks, rosemary potatoes and sauteed vegetables, or with rich, meaty pasta dishes, or with cured meats and cheeses.

After a minimum of three and a half years spent in oak casks follows a period of at least 4 months refining in the bottles. This wine has a high alcohol content and should continue to mature with age. Color is ruby red, deepening with age, the palate is dry and warm, lightly tannic.
