Perched on the banks of the Garonne River, the Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux enjoy a temperate climate, which plays an essential role in the cultivation of the vines. Although labor in the vineyards is considerably more difficult on sloping terrain, and although the yields are generally lower, the grapes benefit substantially from this increased exposure, resulting in greater concentration and complexity. The result: wines which are pleasant and fresh; wines which can be enjoyed young, with aromas of ripe fruits and with lovely, velvety tannins.
Growing in a temperate oceanic climate, combined with the proximity of the Garonne River, provide a favorable balance for the cultivation of our vines. In an effort to integrate an approach to farming, we provide for most of our plots fertilization by natural organic matter and have our own treatment plant effluent wineries. Selected plots of vines, malo-lactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aged in barrels of 1 at 2 wines for 8 to 12 months.
Intense red dark color and brilliance. The nose is complex with a wide range of aromas. Long and fleshy mouth with a tannic structure, concentrated flavors of black fruit, cassis, blackberries, cocoa and spices for a mouth very well balanced.
