Our 2017 Zinfandel comes from Beatty Ranch located high atop Howell Mountain, 2,000 feet above the valley floor. The defining features of Howell Mountain are high altitude, sunny western exposure and rocky, red, well-drained soils, resulting in high quality fruit with depth, structure and consistency. The vines from this particular block at Beatty Ranch are 101 years old.

Ripe plum, blackberry cobbler, bing cherry and subtle spice. Soft and graceful entry, followed by a powerful, yet balanced mid palate. This Zinfandel finishes with a burst of acidity and graceful tannins and a long finish.
