The good news is that there are no stoplights in Dry Creek Valley. About 16 miles long and only 2 miles wide, this viticultural gem is located just outside of Healdsburg. The northern portion of the valley defined by the 1982 insert of the Warm Springs Dam. The grapes come from a vineyard, called Wolcott, on the East benchlands of the Dry Creek Valley. We added 15% of Merlot, Griffen vineyard, from the Dry Creek Valley floor. So this wine is 100% from vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley AVA.
This wonderfully smooth and luscious wine charms with notes of cedar, chocolate, and coffee. Dark fruit flavors towards blackberry and black cherry. Ready to wow with chocolate, coffee, and dark fruit flavors to enjoy with a really, really good steak!
