Mission Briefing

No stone unturned

Single Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay like this one vaporizes like hot rubber spinning under the influence of a thousand horsepower. We see it coming every time we roll out another fantastic example, especially with Sangiacomo fruit. Sometimes the batch we land is too small to make a day’s feature. That’s when we slip it into the store to help fill your lockers with joyful variety.

Everybody wines, everybody wins.

The style here is supercharged, cranked to 11. If crisp, mineral-laden Chablis speaks to you, please look away. This comes from the Catarina Vineyard in Carneros, grown by the famed Sangiacomo team, and raised at Poundstone, a small little operation focused solely on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

As we mentioned, this is not your crisp, acid-driven style. You’re getting big, beautiful, plus-sized deliciousness here. Because sometimes you just want a big, mouthfilling, oaky, buttery Chardonnay baby! No judgement here. Don’t let anyone tell you this style isn’t flat out delicious! You do you. This holds nothing back, and it’s all hanging out the window flashing blingy, ripe stone fruit, lychee, pineapple, toasty vanilla and decadent pie crust.

Not much of this one to go around so get moving!
