They are known for their single vineyard releases, that routinely garner critical praise from 98-100 points from top critics. Parker has called them “sensational wines,” that hail from best sites in Napa Valley. And this is a blend of those sites! It is a special blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from all four of their grand-cru level estate vineyards, including fruit from their perfect-scoring single vineyards.

It is their expression of a ‘Napa’ bottling, a traditional blend including mountain and valley floor fruit that harkens back to the historic style of blending across vineyards.

Citing scores would be giving the game away, but without saying too much, one critic raved, “…it reminds me of a great Saint-Julien from Bordeaux.” Another called it “Pure and fine.” A third, “Rich and sumptuous to the core… offers tremendous appeal to match its stylish personality.”

All agree that this wine will reward patient cellaring – worthy of another decade. One taste, and you’ll see why.

It’s drinking beautifully now! Pouring purple, with a subtle bricking to the rim, complex aromas of black cherries, cassis, tobacco, graphite, leather, anise, violets, and a dash of mint.
