Mission Codename Rosé you say?

“Too much of anything is bad, but too much Champagne is just right.” - F. Scott Fitzgerald

Let’s face it. We love Champagne. And we’re REALLY picky about it.

There is nothing quite like it.

This is not Champagne. BUT… what if we told you it is close… like, REALLY close. For only a fraction of the price!

At 70% OFF, this Rosé would satisfy even the most die-hard, dyed-in-the-wool Champagne freaks. Seriously – Agents Brut, Rôtie, and Noir are three of the pickiest sparkling snobs you will ever meet. Tasting it at HQ, even they were stunned.

Here are five reasons why we love this wine, and why you need it in your life.

One – Instant date night. Popping a bottle of Rosé Bubbs is inherently romantic, and we like keeping a stash on hand so we can surprise (or occasionally apologize!) on a moment’s notice.

Two – Stylistically, it is one of the most food friendly wines known to man. Seriously. It will pair with almost anything. While rosé sparkling wines are typically thought of for dessert (think berries), the Pinot Noir at its core also lets it stand up to anything from fish to chicken, or even a lean cut of beef like Filet Mignon. Though you don’t have to be fancy… It’s also magical with popcorn or potato chips if you’re feeling more Netflix and chill (we refer you again to #1).

Three – it comes from the best place in California to make sparkling wine. Carneros is the most southern appellation in Napa Valley with cooling influence from the San Francisco Bay that allows the traditional sparkling wine varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to thrive while maintaining the crisp, vibrant acidity that gives it such a Champagne-like character. That why even major Champagnes houses like Mumm and Taittinger invested in vineyards here!

Four – These guys know what they’re doing. Grand Napa has been churning out some rock-solid wines for years. Their winemaker, Stéphane Vivier, grew up and learned winemaking among the best in Burgundy, before settling in Napa, when Hyde de Villaine (co-owned by DRC’s owner!) brought him on as winemaker.

The winery is on the edge of Inglenook Estate. With neighbors like Scarecrow, Quintessa, or Inglenook, they have a lot to live up to, and this wine is one of many making a strong case that they’re moving on up.

And finally…

Five – What’s in the bottle is GORGEOUS! Scented with strawberry, raspberry, toasted brioche, and a hint of vanilla, stick your nose in the glass and you will instantly feel the joy of a sunny summer day. The palate is lean, bright, refreshing as a cool breeze in a way that stops you in your tracks and brings a slow smile to your face. Bone-dry, where true Champagne can be tight and mineral, this has a more open, riper, approachable disposition. The three years aging on the lees, just like in proper vintage Champagne, have brought out a toasty complexity to the finish. And it lingers languidly, not in a rush to go anywhere.

Bonus – thanks to our top-secret deal, it’s only $36?! This is a STEAL! And our Champagne budgets are breathing a sigh of relief!

We’re STOCKING UP. Even Agent Brut is in! Grab them before they’re gone!
