Brendan Ronan (Undercover as Agent Q) is the CTO of The Wine Spies, leading the technology behind the daily undercover wine deals our members love. A lifelong technologist, Brendan began building for the web on Geocities in the late 1990s. His path to the industry took an unexpected turn by way of the San Diego music scene in the early 2000s, where he played bass in various punk and rock bands. A chance job at Apple reignited his passion for the web, inspiring him to teach himself software development and launch a career that now spans more than 15 years.

Outside of keeping Wine Spies’ tech mission-ready with his team, Brendan is probably listening to heavy metal, playing D&D, nerding out on history, or enjoying life in Coronado with his wife and daughter.
