Beau Vigne!! Man… OGs in the cult winery scene. Makers of a 100-point Reserve Cabernet and nearly two dozen 95-100 pointers. Crafted by the supremely talented KIRK VENGE. We honestly can’t tell you how we even scored this uber sweet deal (over 50% off) but maybe it involved a fair amount of nagging (cyberstalking) and door dashing a 21 day dry-aged Ny Steak from Cole’s Chop House. 

So. Worth. It.

Because we made it happen and perfect timing, too. We needed this. The world is going to hell in a hundred different ways it seems, but we’re all trying to maintain our sanity. Like right now I’m sitting in the home office, fresh off a nice 4-mile run. There’s a couple of small children making inconceivably loud noises in the other room. Stacks of dishes to be done, dinner to be made. But I’ve got a heavy pour of this and man, life is good. Heck I might even drop some in the coffee maker carafe for a pleasant surprise in the morning. Anything goes these days.

And the best part? The price!!

Seriously though, this must be the reference point for $33 Cabernet. Full stop.

Beau Vigne crushes it from their winery perched on Atlas Peak, and with cherrypicked Rutherford fruit, at this price? It simply doesn’t get better. This checks all the boxes. Stacked with ultra-rich layers of dark fruit. Brimming with sweet pie crust. Mouthfuls of sweet cherries and warm cassis. Dusted with a sprinkle of white pepper, and a drop of vanilla, a melting of licorice. All flowing on smooth, silky tannins, and low acidity make this terrifyingly easy to drink. That price!

Sometimes you get a wine and after tasting it, you immediately think “Aw jeez, I should’ve bought wayyyy more of that”. Then you email us asking if there’s more and sadly we say no because everyone else had the same idea already.
