Mission Codename The American Dream
LAST CALL on our Independence Day special, at UNDER $20 it’s here today, gone tomorrow!
What happens with a hard-driving, hog riding motorcycle bum settles down into the family life with kids? He needs to filter that energy. That’s how Team Vino was born. Dean Bordigioni spent a lot of his life riding vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles, and eventually found himself attracted to Sonoma County where he stumbled upon Annadel, a run-down flower farm at the time. Dean started tilling the land and converted it into a winery but he never lost hold of his inner wild child. The Team Vino wines channel the “vortex of insanity” designed as the answer to the subdued family life. He makes these wines to sponsor the Motorcycle Cannonball run across America (click here if you’re interested in learning more about Dean, his 1923 Harley Davidson JS, and his love for tearing up asphalt across the country).
Vortex of insanity is actually a very apt description of this wine. They say there’s no replacement for displacement when it comes to horsepower. Well, we aren’t sure what the wine equivalent is - no satisfaction without extraction? Drink Zinfandel and raise some hell? Whatever. This is LOUD, hard-charging, full throttle, gear crunching juice that’ll send your tastebuds reeling like a tumbleweed caught in a pack of motorcycles. Fully torqued with endless amounts of ripe, lush, dense blackberry jam and black cherry pie. There are some brambly wood and licorice spice, smoky vanilla too, all carried into an enduro-like finish that grips your tongue like a wide radial tire on hot asphalt. Uber rich, mouthcoating stuff, for sure!
Best of all, for you, is the price. It once cost about 50 bucks…today it’s $19. We can’t click for ya!
