A few vintages ago THIS Cab earned Wine Spectator’s #1 Wine of the Year, and we have a feeling they deserve the top spot every year. If only it weren’t unfair to others.

Most people love it for obvious reasons. The enormous glowing core of ripe black fruit and plush opulent texture. It’s like a bag of chocolate-dipped black cherries, a splash of mochaccino, a slice of fresh-out-the-oven blackberry cobbler, sweet black licorice, and toasty oak all mashed up into one. It holds nothing back and drinks amazing at this young age, but it will certainly improve with a few more years if you can hold out.
