So, we have a trio of rockstar wine people bringing their best fruit to the table. And the gorgeous packaging sure stands out – who’s not a sucker for a that silk screen. But we’re not here for the name dropping, or the lovely bottle design. You want to know what’s INSIDE the Galaxy.

Seamless and so, SO soft in the mouth. Like pure velvet. Or the bottom of a baby’s foot. Your favorite chinchilla. In a lineup of over two dozen wines (including some heavy-hitting $100-200 Cabs), this was a standout thanks to the beautiful texture and plush mid-palate. Anchored by the Stags Leap Cabernet which adds the heft, and rounded out by the Merlot and Syrah, it shows a long line of black fruit, pencil lead, black cherry, cassis, black pepper, and molasses. All carefully joined together with no hard edge whatsoever. Pure bliss on your tongue.

At this price? You gotta be kidding… the stash is small sadly, so run, don’t walk.
