Mission Codename Buttre
OK, all you lovers of classy Chardonnay - today is for YOU!
We heard the calls for more, loud and clear.
This Russian River Chardonnay is pure class. It has all that richness you crave while retaining a crisp, refreshing balance.
And the best part? Under $20!! At NEARLY HALF OFF it’s a total bargain. A ‘case me’ kind of deal. Think about it for a second - is there any reason you DON’T need a pile of Chard in your stash??
BUERRE. Sounds like “beurre”, the French word for butter. This definitely leans toward the richer, buttery, and hedonistic side of the spectrum without going totally overboard. It does have a bit of malo, some oak aging, and stirring of the lees, which all add some depth and richness. But it also has a glowing core of white flowers and honeysuckle, lemon curd and pineapple, baked pears, and a caramel and butterscotch layer skillfully blanketed on top. It’s all perfectly balanced with a pop of acidity. Quality is straight off the meter for the price!
Now if you come asking us HOW we got this beauty to under $20, we can’t tell. And don’t even try to find out about the great undisclosed vineyards that went into it, or the great winemaker that bottled it, we are SWORN to secrecy, and we’re SPIES, we take that stuff seriously!
But we CAN tell you that if you’ve been waiting for Chardonnay, this is the one. Load up!
