Sweet, juicy, and utterly delicious. Loaded with…CHERRY JOLLY RANCHER? Luxardo cherries? Strawberry licorice? It’s all in there. Maybe some grenadine, too. YUP. Rich and round, mouthcoating layers of dark red cherry liqueur, raspberry jam, cocoa dust, and vanilla cola swell from the glass. A total face-ripper that’s a blast to drink without a care in the world. It’s not a bruiser, or an uber concentrated style Cabernet. More of a medium-bodied tipple but still percolating with all sorts of deliciousness. Simply put, if you like ripe, red fruit in your glass this is the one.

Wine Enthusiast points out that “Parducci continues to make remarkably good wines at fair prices out of its sustainably farmed, carbon-neutral Mendocino outpost” which is the wild west of California wine country and Parducci is one of the oldest wineries around… for 3 generations the Thornhills have been there, making great wines, and taking great care in a sustainable way that cares for the land.
