Dry Stack Vineyard is ground zero for some of the absolute best Sauv Blanc out there. We know this because boutique producers we love such as Bevan Cellars, Aperture, and Aesthete make similarly flashy ones from here. In fact, when an inaugural wine from Dry Stack was released back in the 2006 vintage, Robert Parker went gaga over “one of the most impressive Sauvignon Blancs I have tasted”, later adding that this site produces “one of California’s finest examples of this Italian clone of Sauvignon Blanc that is planted in these gravelly, loamy soils.”

Of course, you’d be paying 2-3x the price for those names.
