Back to Randall. A VISIONARY who’s been changing the way we drink wine in this country since the 80s. Wine Spectator praises him as “one of California’s most innovative vintners!”. The original RHONE RANGER.

He was called “California’s most quixotic winemaker” by Jancis Robinson. While Dan Berger, for Napa Valley Register says “I view Grahm as one of the world’s most astounding wine people.” The praise and near godlike worship go on and on. But you should just taste it for yourself.

First, let’s address the name: “Cigare Volant” is unusual. It comes from the 1950s, and a string of UFO sightings, or “flying cigars” as they called them in the Rhone region. Vintners and winegrowers were so worried about this, that they passed a law banning them. Seriously, that happened.

Dusty, meaty, minerality, and bramble fruits combine into one powerful force here. The reviews pretty much nail it - so unique, so cool, and unlike anything you’ve had.
