A recent visit by Antonio Galloni’s Vinous demonstrates “One of Rioja’s most well-known, oldest, and largest bodegas, CVNE was founded in 1879 in Haro. Today the property owns over 500 hectares of vines. Over the past decade the quality of these traditionally made wines has been on a steady rise. Today I would count CVNE among the region’s top producers, up and down the range…”

Adding a spot-on assessment of this scrumptious Rosado: “Deep neon pink. Red berries, cherry and hints of orange zest and white pepper on the nose. Fleshy and supple in texture, offering juicy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that firm up on the back half. Orange and red berry notes linger on the nicely persistent finish, which shows gently firming grip.”
