This FLOWS with lush fruit - red cherries and smoky plums, some red currants. A dusting of baking spices, a suggestion of cocoa powder and a whisper of freshly chopped Anaheim chilis hang around the edges. The fruit remains front and center with lush blackberries, blueberries, and cherry compote, even with a little age and it has a soft, expansive mouthfeel to carry the complexity into every nook and cranny. The finish is long as can be, and this knockout is a match made in heaven for a bone-in ribeye.
