DO NOT LET OPPORTUNITY PASS YOU BY
Scott MacFiggen and Regina Bustamante, the husband-and-wife team behind the ultra-boutique Sosie Wines started their adventure into fine wine by traveling to France for work. The relationship evolved (hello workplace romance!) and so did their appreciation for well-crafted French wines.
Fast forward to a series of brilliant decisions. 1) Start a winery in Sonoma 2) Use Old World techniques to pay homage to the French wine style 3) Hire Kieran Robinson as consultant winemaker who cut her chops at Pierre Gaillard and Cakebread Cellars and was recently succeeded by Philippe Melka! 4) Keep it small and focus on making wines in the “California Sun with a French Soul.” and 5) Get in on the magic that is Stagecoach Vineyard
All good decisions! Now it’s your turn. At half off- it’s not a hard one.
This wine shows exactly what you would expect from such a celebrated site. Napa’s largest continuous vineyard and most well-known from Atlas Peak, Stagecoach offers deep concentrated flavors and rich, lush textures. This site is special for so many reasons. Besides the unique shape of the vineyard (almost like a bowl), it boasts ideal climate, altitude, and soils for hardy Bordeaux varietals like the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc found in this blend.
Dive into an all-encompassing world of deep, dark fruit. Red and blue shades, with blueberry, black cherry, cocoa and dried figs flavors stacked high and riding on velvety tannins. The blend here is 56% Cabernet Franc and 43% Cabernet Sauvignon with one percent Petite Verdot like a perfect bit of pixie dust.
We have so very little of this little-known gem. Do not let yourself down by missing this incredible deal!
Get on it!
