Mission Codename Fresh Prince
Wait, did you think we’d be selling sexy Pauillacs lately? Time to cool things down all the way down to a STAGGERINGLY REAL $25?? For another library offering with 93 points?!
No, you’re not hallucinating. This Bel Air Gloria is the REAL DEAL daily drinker steal.
At the original $35-40 release price, every bottle that landed stateside was already spoken for. The Bordelaise merchants are true squirrels though, so while hunting targets down during our latest secret mission, we uncovered this stash tucked away behind a mountain of classified growths.
Naturally, we jumped on the pallet for you. Only to watch it get raided in under an hour, oh, it is bound to happen.
Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate aptly calls this “a well-made Haut-Médoc from the Château Gloria team” and yes, that Château Gloria, the vastly popular St. Julien darling. This is their other property not too far from there, but light years apart for its “hidden gem” value in comparison.
Heads up, once this is gone there will not be a Bordeaux this affordably delicious for the rest of the day, heck, probably for the foreseeable future, either.
93 Points – Wine Enthusiast
“Smoky with flavors of the wood aging, this wine is also rich and concentrated with firm tannins. Situated just inland from Saint-Julien and made by the owners of Château Gloria, the vineyard has produced a full wine with a serious structure and dark black fruitiness. Drink this age worthy wine from 2024.”
