Mission Codename My Cosmos is Mine
Are. You. Ready!!?
Hope your fast twitch muscles are ready for some action because this one is going to FLY!
The warehouse crew is going to hate us, but you’ll love it.
80% OFF?! EIGHT ZERO. Not a typo, people.
This micro-production, luxury Napa Cab was released at $195 and is now yours for $39? Did we slip into some rip in the spacetime continuum? How is this possible? And how can you say no?
These are the offers we live for - the kind of backdoor deal that only happens via our proximity to wine country and the deep connections we have. Adeptos is one of those hidden side projects nobody seems to know about, but we do know this: The wine is killer. Only 360 cases were made and it massively over-delivers at the price. Easily competes with the big gun $100 Napa cabs. For comparison, we put it up against last Monday’s $175 Classified Cabernet (if you got some, you know already) and it was a split decision.
It’s uber-sexy and polished. Your highly desirable, immensely drinkable type of sweetly fruited Napa Cab. Busting with supple layers of blackberry creme, candied violets, warm cocoa, plums, spices, and nicely integrated, toasty oak. DAMN, it’s good!
Winemaker Brian Kosi, per Wine Business Monthly is “A graduate of the UC Davis, Kosi’s career includes positions at Acacia, Opus One, PlumpJack, Beaulieu Vineyard, and Freemark Abbey.” Add Cardinale, and Juslyn to that list, currently. With that resume came the a-ha moment. We didn’t hit the Powerball jackpot, but we did land this, so we’re feeling pretty, pretty, pretty good.
What else can we say?
If you like those big, full-throttle single-vineyard Napa Cabs this is a must-have. A warning though - tiny production stuff like this mean we get an even tinier allocation and odds it sells out before noon are fairly high… Well, it does not take a genius to figure that out at 80% now, does it?
