Not even released yet to the mailing list! At $150 it will surely be a popular offering. But at what we’ve got it down to? The virtual stampede has already begun. Today you can stock up on “baby Buccella” at a price that is otherwise incomprehensible and implausible.

Some of you are old enough to remember when Buccella hit the scene 20 years ago. An OG cult wine that sells for $250 and up today. And the praise continued rolling in for the next two decades. Long made under the auspices of Celia Welch of Scarecrow fame, the project is now in the hands of another 100 point winemaker AND a Master Sommelier, Landon Donley. With tenure at Trinchero, past roles at Spottswoode, and Mollydooker, he’s a rising star in his own right and did everything right with this wine.
