Champagne-born winemaker Antoine Favero has been at the helm here since 2005, sharpening his reputation on Zinfandel. BIG, jammy and ripe - just how you like it. This combines a field blend of 87% Zinfandel, 7% Petite Sirah and 6% Carignane and is 100% awesome. The antithesis of a wimpy wine, it’s pumped full of throbbing brambly fruit. Huckleberry, black cherry, and raspberry - heck it’s like a fragrant mixed berry pie in a bottle. Throw in a little vanilla, chewy toffee, Cuban coffee, and a little sweet spice, too. For us, this is the ultimate summer BBQ wine and a sure-fire crowd-pleaser.
