Mission Codename Spot on
Owen Roe sold out TWICE, we sure have a case of Pinot fever 🔥!
So how about the final few cases of this beauty next with a fresh, spot on Wine Enthusiast rave and keep things at 24 bucks a bottle?
The kind they say recommend to “pair with weekday takeaway.”
Per PinotFile “A fulcrum is a point of balance for a lever and his goal is to leverage the best wine out of the best grapes while maintaining balance. That is what Fulcrum is all about.” The right Fulcrum gives you the leverage to multiply efforts and in the wine world that means getting prime fruit, using great barrels, and perhaps most importantly - having a skilled winemaking hand.
If you aren’t lucky enough to be in the know yet, meet Fulcrum. Self-taught proprietor/winemaker David Rossi has been creating wines of balance as in the project’s name, with complexity and intrigue from all over Sonoma for almost two decades.
Much praise has been heaped upon David Rossi and his wines. A favorite comes from wine writer Dan Berger’s Vintage Experiences, and he says, “the aromas, tastes, and structures of the wines are near-perfect and much better than most higher-priced PNs.”
I’d bet a dollar that you’d blind taste this Pinot Noir and guess it retailed for over $60. So ALREADY at retail pricing, this wine is a deal. But wait… that’s not all! Today, we’re able to bring this beauty to you for over 40% off the already low retail pricing. Double win for you!
The North Coast bottling for On Point is a blend of some excellent vineyards from all over the region. As the Winemakers Select is a blend of the best barrels Wildcat Mountain, Walala and Gap’s Crown Vineyards. What a blend!
Fairly rich, round and polished on the palate. It booms with dark Bing Cherries, a touch of cola and a melange of spices on the nose. It all leads perfectly into the silky smooth, well integrated tannins. On the tongue, find a basket of fresh summer berries, cedar and the loveliest bit of minerality. Just exceptional stuff and drinking absolutely primetime right now.
This is SMALL production; you won’t find it out in the wild. And it’s just about HALF OFF now!
91 Points – Wine Enthusiast
“This wine is fresh, with aromas of dark berries, citrus, maple, potpourri and dried herbs on the nose. The flavors on the palate are ripe strawberry, raspberry-pomegranate compote and orange-zest vanilla cream, gliding into cardamom, toasty oak and a dry finish. Pair with weekday takeaway.”
