Dedicated to all the Pinot-philes, “Double Trouble” Pinot Noir from Westwood Estates is a celebration of Pinot Noir and its inherent complexity. Westwood’s Sonoma Valley AVA estate, the Annadel Gap Vineyard, is planted with nine diverse Pinot Noir clones that best harness the unique geographic and geologic components of the site. These building blocks allow the team to play with the broad spectrum of Pinot Noir, and to create truly unique, true to terroir wines every year.

This year’s barrel auction lot is comprised of two clones: Dijon 115 and 943. Dijon 115 brings structure, earth and dark berry flavors which are blended with 943’s high-toned blue fruits and violet floral lift. In the hands of skilled Winemaker Ben Cane, “Double Trouble” lives up to its name, creating balance and harmony in this spectacular showing.
