Ooooohh! Fresh and fabulous! It is rare for a Chianti Classico to really blow our socks off. We’ve been lucky enough to taste quite a few in our day. This winery did it though. We even had to pick up both the 2018 and 2019 because they were BOTH so good!

Beautiful indeed! Made by Serena Gusmeri, the vineyard property is highly regarded in the heart of Chianti Classico with a lineage going back to ancient times under the same name. In 2000, the property became a part of Italy’s first Organic district, focusing on sustainable practices and biodiversity of the land. Each bottling expresses the unique terroir found there.

This expression is true classic Chianti. Bold and elegant with nice tannic structure and bright acid. Grown on a hilltop where fruit can gain all the ripeness it deserves, this wine is layered and refined.

Medium bodied with deep aromas of berry preserve, cherry, and sweet tobacco, this could be a scratch and sniff example for the textbook on Chianti Classico. Think dried herb, savory salami, espresso, and balsamic reduction. 100% Sangiovese and 1,000% awesome. Pair this beauty with any Italian dish. It is absolutely gorgeous!

It offers complex aromas of baked black cherry, saddle leather, and damp forest soil and has purity on the palate as well as a full texture, with warming fruit of spiced plum and plush tannins, though it is not weighted down. This impressive red has a lot packed into it. Drink 2024-2036.”
