Mission Briefing
Italia!
A complex and intriguing wine that beings a little tight and reserved, this wine really springs to life after some decanting - or some energetic swirling.
If you love Chianti, you’ll find this wine to deliver a classic yet robust experience that delights the senses with dark aromas and bright, delicious flavors. There is an Old World earthiness to this lovely 2007 Petronius Chianti Classico that takes a little urging to coax it to life, but the patient swirler will be rewarded handsomely.
An easy and flexible companion for many foods, we recommend pairing this wine with a creamy Fettuccine Alfredo with pancetta or an assortment of hard cheeses.
