Tasting Profile
Look: | Gorgeous salmon hues from core to slightly lighter edge. When viewed from the top, the wine takes on a slightly coppery tint. A strong, steady stream of fine bubbles cascades upward in a dance of intertwining columns. |
---|---|
Smell: | Subtle, elegant soft with earthy aromas of almond skin, geranium, subtle dried pink rose petal and subtle wet river rock that play with fruits of golden raisin, young wild strawberry crowns, underripe Pink Lady apple. |
Taste: | As the wine crosses the threshold of the palate, flavors of young alpine strawberry and light mixed citrus and a hint of kiwi appear. At the mid palate, flavors become more broad and rich, adding luscious underripe white peach. None of these flavors are sweet, but neither is the wine overly savory. |
Finish: | Very long and full-flavored with earthy and fruit notes that diminish slowly and in equal proportion. Gradually, the wine begins to add a plush and wonderful dryness. |
