What a wonderful start to July! Today’s 2011 Portalupi Bianco is fantastic. This lovely, budget-friendly wine is the perfect white for a summertime soirée. It is food-friendly, bright, complex and delicious.

This blend of 47% Sauvignon Blanc, 46% Chardonnay and 7% Muscat Canelli shows great balance while also delivering enough complexity to make the wine very interesting.

Ideal at somewhere between cooler temperature and room temperature, this approachable wine improves as you spin and sip, allowing it to aerate and to warm slightly.

Highly recommended for any fan of delicious white wines.
