Mission Briefing

La Première Terre

Today’s bright, flavorful French Chardonnay is a wine that we are simply crazy about, dear Operative!

This perfect-for-summer treat is soft and light on the nose, at first, but as it warms up it opens to reveal more lush fruit. On the palate, the flavors are easy and soft. Here, too, the wine starts out shy, but the more it breathes, the more elegant and flavorful it becomes.

If you love true Chardonnay - from the country that “invented” the varietal, please accept this wonderful wine with our highest recommendation.

Tasting Profile

Light golden yellow with a soft looking and fast settling surface.

Shy on the nose at first, the wine gradually comes to life. When it does, it reveals, light citrus and dried white flower petals.

Bright and soft on the palate, with fresh citrus, lime leaf, dried straw, honeydew melon,

Lingering and creamy on the mid palate, with fine citrus lingering longest

Prosciutto and melon balls, or a roast chicken with lemon, rosemary and sea salt would also be outstanding. This wine laos has the acidity to go great with a pepper crusted Ahi steak.
