The King of Fresh

Today’s 2012 White Rex is a fantastic and very highly recommended white blend from the winery that brought you one of our best-selling wines of all time, the Deerfield Red Rex. Today’s delicious blend, which is a prefect summertime refresher, would also be a fantastic accompaniment to your Thanksgiving feast. Be sure to stock up.

We make no secret of the fact that we love Deerfield Ranch Winery. Their wines are simply superb. And, the Rex family are simply some of the warmest and kindest folks that we know in the wine trade.

Today’s delicious wine delighted our entire tasting panel with its original flair. This wine is bright and balanced, with luscious aromas and ample flavors. On the palate, the wine is bright, but a mid-palate softness adds a touch of elegance.

This wine - a perfect companion to the Red Rex - is everything we would expect from Deerfield and we offer it to you with great glee. Just be sure to order enough to last through the rest of the year!

Tasting Profile

Pale glinting golden hues with color all the way out to the edge of the glass.

Fresh citrus, white peach, lemon flower, lime leaf and light jasmine present at the from of the nose. As the wine warm even slightly, it reveals lemon curd,

Very well-structured with a voluptuous, weighty feel that coats the palate with lemon curd, citrus flower and. A fresh dose or yellow delicious apple adds a delightful and subtly sweet rounding of the flavors.

Long and lingering, with prolonged citrus at the edges. As the flavors fade, a fine flinty flavor stays behind.

Pear and spinach salad with feta and walnuts. A grilled sol with butter and lemon, over a bed of arugula, would be just divine.
