Today’s 2008 Pellegrini Russian River Merlot is a big, delicious wine with elegance, balance and structure. It is a serious Merlot that will delight lovers of any exceptional Bordeaux varietal wine.
This wine is very well balanced, delivering rich, elegant and long-sustaining fruit all across the palate. It culminates in a well-structured and seemingly endless finish. When flavors finally fade, you’ll find yourself taking another long pull on the wine. That is, of course, until you find that you’ve polished off the bottle. Great thing you got a few!
