2010 Instant Napa Cabernet Sauvignon
California: Napa Valley
Don’t miss out on Swanson Vineyards’ latest gem! Today’s very limited release 2010 Instant Napa Cabernet Sauvignon hits all the right notes in style. Deeply flavorful, with an impeccable mouthfeel and lingering finish, today’s wine most definitely hits all the right notes on the “Napa Cab” rubric.
Check out this video of winemaker Chris Phelps talking about today’s wine:
Impenetrably deep scarlet, with a foreboding heart and a slight lighter glimmer at the edge.
Delightful perfumy aromatics, with ripe dark berries framed against summer briar patch, toasty dark baking spices, dried rose petals, and hints of a fresh summer garden.
Layered and robust, with juicy dark berries and black cherry laid overtop currant, dark chocolate, espresso bean, fresh cedar wood, clove, and black peppercorn.
A decanter, this wine benefits greatly from a little air. Nice, soft tannins frame a lengthy finish, with a touch of dried cranberry lingering on the edges of the palate.
Grilled pork tenderloin, served with a goat cheese, tomato, and blueberry salad.
