Deep, deep sanguine in color, today’s wine is densely layered, with braised dark fruit laid overtop touches of dried fallen leaves and toasty dark baking spices. Today’s wine straddles the line between complexity and approachability beautifully, creating one tasty drinking experience that is sure to please even the toughest crowds.

Look: | Deep, dark sanguine hued in the center of the glass, with pretty flecks of magenta throughout as well. |

Smell: | Dense and power-packed on the nose, with braised dark fruit notes of sweet plum and blackberry framed against dried fallen leaves, sweet tobacco, espresso bean, and toasty dark baking spices. |
Taste: | The palate fully delivers on the flavors promised in the nose, with oodles of dark flavors enveloping the tongue. Black plum, black cherry, and blackberry are laid overtop toasted oak, sandalwood, cooked brown sugar, dark roasted coffee bean, and hints of cinnamon and clove. |
Finish: | A sure crowd pleaser, with a lovely richness paired with a very approachable level of complexity. |
