Tasting Profile
Look: | A dark strawberry red, reminiscent of a ripe strawberry dipped in chocolate. |
---|---|
Smell: | A delightfully aromatic nose, with plenty of sweet berry fruit laid against notes of dark baking spices, fresh cedar wood, toasty black peppercorn, and echoes of a fresh summer berry bramble. |
Taste: | Well balanced and downright elegant, this Zin is one to savor. Mulberry and sweet raspberry greet you initially, with hints of chocolate, espresso bean, warm baking spices, fresh cedar wood shavings, and sweet vanilla bean rounding out the flavor profile. |
Finish: | Incredibly smooth and refined, this is one knockout wine. The finish lingers with you, just long enough to last to your next sip. |
Pairing: | Grilled lamb chops, dry rubbed with a Mediterranean blend of rosemary, garlic, and oregano. |
