We are thrilled to offer you the exquisite Clos Du Val 2010 Napa Valley Merlot. Elegant and subdued, this is a true Cab lover’s delight.
Best decanted, this wine truly rewards a little patience. Blueberry, sweet tobacco leaf, and espresso bean leap from the glass, eagerly inviting you to take that first sip. And, boy, once this wine hits your tongue, you’ll be hooked. A heady blend of dark fruit, sweet terroir, and subtle herbal tea combine to create an absolutely luxurious and refined wine.

Tasting Profile
Look: | Super dark crimson, with flecks of magenta in the heart of the glass. |

Smell: | Lush on the nose, with black currant, black cherry, and blueberry initially leaping from the glass. These are quickly trailed by fresh spring garden, clove, juniper berry, lilac, and subtle green peppercorn. |
Taste: | Concentrated and robust on the palate, with elegant notes of sweet plum, boysenberry, and blueberry mingling with espresso bean, sweet tobacco leaf, lavender, and a touch of herbal black tea. |
Finish: | This wine will reward you with decanting. Once the wine opens up, you’ll be greeted by a pleasant, slight tartness on the initial finish, with dark fruit slowly fading away and a hint of green peppercorn spice remaining. |
Pairing: | Slowly braised pork shoulder served alongside roasted carrots and red potatoes. |
