Today’s Eco Terreno 2010 Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a bright, lively wine that had our tasting panel marveling at its friendly approachability and subtle complexity.
Eco Terreno is a new winery for us, and we are so happy to have found them. This Sauv Blanc is both savory and creamy, which is influenced by the wonderful oak regiment on the wine.

Super pale gold, nearly straw yellow, through and through.
Very aromatic, with green apple, just ripened peach, and sweet lime zest mingling with white floral notes, subtle oyster brine, orange oil, and a touch of sage.
A delicious blend of fresh fruit, citrus, and slight herbal notes, with white peach, green apple, and sweet lime laid overtop Meyer lemon zest, eucalyptus, mint, lilac, and slightly toasted brioche.
Very soft on entry, with a good mouthfeel and lingering note of lime zest throughout the finish.
An early course dish of asparagus wrapped with prosciutto.
