Kest Estate Wines
2011 4 Cepages' Reserve Red Blend
Australia: Barossa Valley
Deep dark red, with subtle flecks of darker magenta throughout.
Lovely hints of slightly baked red fruit mingles with dried herbs, dried summer earth, and a refreshing note of eucalyptus.
A very well balanced and quite elegant wine, with juicy red fruit, highlighted by dark cherry, currants, and wild strawberry, laid overtop touches of sweet tobacco leaf, berry bramble, and dried Provencal herbs.
Incredibly soft upon entry, the wine glides across the palate, with just a touch of grip along the edges of the tongue.
Grilled pistachio lamb burger, served with homemade Tzatziki.
