It's a beautiful thing
What a return by Alexander Valley Vineyards! It’s been quite a while since we’ve featured this Operative-favorite winery, and boy, did they come back with a winner!
Today’s Alexander Valley Vineyards 2012 Sin Zin is one their most popular offerings, and it’s easy to see why. Deeply flavorful, with dark cherries, soft leather, and freshly ground peppercorn shining through, today’s wine is everything you could want in a California Zin - all for only $15.99!
We’re almost sure today’s wine will sell out quickly, so please act fast. Your taste buds will thank you!
A lustrous dark, baked cherry red throughout the center of the glass.
A very elegant aromatic profile, with fresh dark fruit notes of blackberry and black cherry abutting sweet tobacco leaf, soft leather, black peppercorn, and toasty brown baking spices.
Deeply flavorful and downright delicious! Braised dark berries are laid over summer earth, freshly ground black peppercorn, clove, anise, lightly roasted coffee bean, cocoa powder, and tobacco leaf.
A very well balanced wine, with nicely proportioned elements of fruit and spice. A very approachable Zin.
Today’s wine is a perfect grilled gourmet burger wine - smoked cheddar, secret sauce, caramelized onions, fresh leafy greens and heirloom tomatoes.
