2010 The Big Easy Red Blend
Santa Barbara County
Easy does it
Today’s Fess Parker Winery 2010 The Big Easy Red Blendis a stunning wine that we are so excited to bring to you.
Today’s wine, simply put, is everything you hope for in a bold red wine. Beautiful aromatics of juicy dark fruit, baking spices, and dried rose petals entice you, inviting you to take that first sip. You’ll then be greeted by notes of chocolate covered dark cherries, mushroomy earth, and espresso bean, with a slight kick of black peppercorn spice. The finish is silken, with mouthwatering acidity and fine tannins seamlessly integrated with one another.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a few bottles. We know that once you taste today’s wine you’ll be happy you did.
When you envision the color of red wine, today’s wine is it: a lustrous dark scarlet, showing tremendous depth and vibrancy.
Gorgeous aromatics leap from the glass after a hearty swirl or two. Rich notes of black cherry, mulberry, and Santa Rosa plum envelope notes of dried rose petals, brown baking spices, dark cocoa powder, and freshly ground black peppercorn.
The palate more than fulfills on the promise of the nose. A beautifully clear note of dark chocolate covered cherry immediately presents itself on the first sip. Additional flavors of freshly tilled mushroomy earth, dried blueberry, spice box, and espresso bean shine through as the wine opens in the glass.
Incredibly smooth and silken on the finish, with impeccably well balanced flavors and seamlessly integrated tannins. Simply a stunning wine.
A wine that pays homage to NOLA? Of course we have to go with homemade gumbo!
