Smell: | A very interesting blend, with subtle and elegant hints of red fruit, a touch of lavender, black peppercorn spice and a hint of minerality. This wine was made in the Southern Rhone style, with earth and structure ahead of fresh fruits and reduced fruits. |
Taste: | Red fruit, subtle earth, spice, black peppercorn, lightly roasted coffee bean, a bit of vanilla bean, and toasty brown baking spices. |
Finish: | Strong structure, with a subtle tart cherry flavor that lingers through to the end. |
