Rustic cherry red, like a ripened bushel of cherries at the farmer’s market.
A very interesting blend, with subtle and elegant hints of red fruit, a touch of lavender, black peppercorn spice and a hint of minerality. This wine was made in the Southern Rhone style, with earth and structure ahead of fresh fruits and reduced fruits.
Red fruit, subtle earth, spice, black peppercorn, lightly roasted coffee bean, a bit of vanilla bean, and toasty brown baking spices.
Strong structure, with a subtle tart cherry flavor that lingers through to the end.
Cherry glazed pork chops with rosemary potatoes seem the obvious choice for this bright and earthy wine.
