Mission Briefing

Codename:

The Right L'Attitude

We fell in love with today’s L’Attitude 39 2011 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and are sure you will, too!

A beautiful cherry red in the glass, today’s wine has juicy red fruit flavors paired with hints of soft dark spice, sandalwood, and a touch of summer briar patch. What really sets today’s wine apart is the quality of the wine. We were certain we were drinking a MUCH higher priced wine, and were absolutely thrilled to find out today’s wine was available for under $20. The name L’Attitude 39 highlights the fact that today’s wine is produced and grown on the same latitude of Burgundy, France, but we felt it was also an apt comparison to the overall quality of the wine.

If you love great California fruit with the classic nobility of a really good Burgundian-style Pinot, then today is your lucky day. Don’t miss out!

Look:

A delicious baked cherry red in the center of the glass.

Smell:

On the nose, clear notes of dark black cherry and dark blackberry immediately present themselves and are quickly trailed by hints of sweet tobacco leaf, fresh berry bramble, espresso bean, and slightly toasted dark baking spices.

Taste:

Deep red berries lead the way on the palate, with dark raspberry, cherry, and mulberry mingling with sweet tobacco leaf, soft dark spice, sandalwood, and a touch of summer briar patch.

Finish:

A soft and lingering finish, with deep notes of dark cherry that last through and through.

Pairing:

A summer pasta dish of corn, slow-roasted tomatoes, and garlic confit.
