2010 Headwaters Napa Valley Red Wine
California: Napa Valley
Today’s wine offer is on a rare and sought-after Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon blend. In our opinion, this sub $30 wine (after our generous 36% off discount) beats out Napa Cabernet up in the stratospheric $100 price category. Robert Parker loved this wine so much that he awarded it a stellar 92 point score. This lovely Cabernet is powerful, rich, and complex with all of the style and elegance expected of great Napa Valley wine. It is the perfect bottle for fans of big Cabs - and it loves to be near a fireplace, dinner table, or flat screen TV. Your price of just $29.99 today is the best price in the country. Don’t miss it!
Deep purple, inky and opaque.
Cedar, graphite, dusty earth, grilled bread, clay, and berry compote.
Unctuous berry-packed flavor spiked with signature Cabernet (and friends!) nuances of black plums, currant jam, dried herb, and licorice. Extremely delicious.
Powerful. Head filling aromas and flavors. Tannins are smooth and polished, but have enough structure for aging.
It’s hard to not want grilled red meat, but there are other options too. Think hard cheeses, a hearty winter stew, sitting outside by the fire-pit, or nibbling on some good chocolate!
