The Erba Syrah is fast becoming the rising star of the property. A prodigious wine from the moment it’s poured, this wine exhibits an array of N. Rhone Valley attributes, along with characteristic Napa Valley ripeness. Black cherry, blackberry, pepper dust, fresh ground coffee, leather, black olive, and smoked meat show amazing complexity and true Syrah character. Bittersweet chocolate and cedar linger of the polished finish. A silky palate offers flavors of mountain fruit and earth that are typically found in collector-worthy wines from the Northern Rhone.
