Mission Briefing
Tiny Pearls
In the mood for a Sparkling Rosé? What about a nice bottle of Cabernet Franc? Well, dear Operative, today is your lucky day. Today’s Chateau De La Bonneliere Marc Plouzeau Perles Fines Sparkling Brut Rosé combines Agent Red’s two favorite things into one spectacular package.
With a voluptuous plume of mousse and delicate white fruit flavors, today’s wine is excellent on its own or paired with a variety of foods. We decided to get a little kinky with ours and serve it with brunch - superb!
We offer you this delightful bubbly with our heartiest recommendation.
Tasting Profile
Look: | A tremendous plume of bubbles erupt in the glass upon pouring. Once settled, a beautifully pale peach emerges. |
---|---|
Smell: | Clean and crisp aromas of fresh white fruit, nectarine, and lime leaf greet you, with touches of vanilla bean and cranberry skin as well. |
Taste: | Very refreshing on the palate, with just enough ‘oomph’ to make things interesting. White peach, white nectarine, and dried wild strawberry mingle with hints of Meyer lemon, cranberry, and a touch of honeycomb. |
Finish: | The bubbles are wonderfully mouth-filling, and leave you with a slight dryness along the edge of the tongue. The wine is a very food friendly sparkler. |
Pairing: | Fish tacos, served with creamy avocado dressing. |
